PTPPd awards three types of certificates confirming competence in psychodynamic psychotherapy. Each has its own procedure with specific requirements, fees, and deadlines. Choose your career stage.
PTPPd IN CERTIFICATION

Three levels confirming competence at different stages of a psychotherapist’s career.
PTPPd Psychotherapist Certificate
The main professional certificate. It confirms completion of full psychoanalytic training and readiness for independent clinical work in the psychodynamic approach.
- 1,250 hours of training
- Fee PLN 1,800
- Valid for 7 years
PTPPd Supervisor Certificate
The highest level of certification. It entitles the holder to supervise other psychotherapists. It requires prior completion of a 3-year applicantship.
- Min. 10 years of clinical practice
- Certification exam PLN 1,800
- Requirement: completed applicantship
PTPPd Supervisor Applicant
A three-year preparatory stage between the psychotherapist certificate and the supervisor exam. It includes conducting supervision under the guidance of a certified supervisor.
- Min. 2 years since the psychotherapist certificate
- Initial fee PLN 600
- 100 hours of supervision provided

PERIODIC PROCEDURE
Certificate renewal
Every 7 years the psychotherapist certificate must be renewed. The procedure confirms ongoing professional development and current practice.
